A History of Firsts
In 1864, St. Paul Travelers was the first company in the nation to insure against accidents and, in 1897, the first to issue an auto insurance policy. In 1999, we were the first insurer to offer consumers protection against identity fraud. Now we’re the first to market with a national discounted insurance product specifically for hybrid vehicle owners.
